Poll Results: Your Favorite Fabrics
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote. I asked which fabrics and patterns you most want to see from Pine Trees & Incense next, and you gave me a really clear answer. Here's how it all shook out.
Knit won the fabric poll, and it wasn't close. 24 out of 46 people picked it.
The winners
Knit came in first with 24 votes. That's just over half of everyone who voted, so cozy sweater fabrics are clearly what you're craving.
Maxis Match took second place with 16 votes. It's good to know so many of you want stuff that blends right in with the base game look.
Chenille, Burlap and Wool tied for third with 12 votes each, and Moon & Stars was right behind them with 11.
So the big picture is soft, warm, textured fabrics. Knit, wool, chenille and burlap all landed near the top!
Most people picked two or three favorites, so these are real preferences and not just everyone clicking every box. Poor Jersey didn't get a single vote.
What's next
Starting tomorrow, I will be making the swatches. After that, the coding tests starts. The plan is to start with Adult because that will be the easiest, and will let me see if all my ideas will pan out. After that the Infant-Child.
A few of you also asked for solid colors with lots of swatches, and 9 of you just voted for EVERYTHING, which I love. I'm keeping all of this in mind as I plan.
